Opening Hours and Access
In accordance with the latest government guidelines, the shop is now open again for browsing and commission meetings. I also understand that some of my clients prefer not to be out and about at the moment, and I am happy to keep many of the workarounds that we used during lockdown running.
There are never enough hours in the day, but we (my patient husband and I) are working on an eCommerce option for the site so you may well start to see stock in the online shop at some point in the future.
In the meantime, get in touch to tell us what you are looking for – jo[at]silverforge.co.uk. We will email / WhatsApp you images of jewellery that we think will meet the brief, and if you see something you like, we can arrange to post the item to you.
Collection is possible, please let me know if you’d like to collect.
Orders can be posted to you, or to a friend or relative as a gift. I use the Royal Mail Special Delivery service to post out pieces, and they are insured and guaranteed to arrive next working day, usually before 1pm.
Payments will need to be made prior to collection or despatch, and we are able to take card payments by phone: Thursday 10am – 5pm, Friday 10am – 5pm, Saturday 10am-1pm.
I will continue to make jewellery commissions in the shop and at home, communicating via email, phone and video. As so many of my commissions are already requested from all over the country, I have a lot of experience with “distance working”, so if you are looking for a birthday gift or a present for a special occasion, please do get in touch:
jo [at] silverforge.co.uk or through the contact form, and please do add me to your safe-senders list.
Thank you for your ongoing support this year; it is very much appreciated and means more than you know!
I hope you keep safe and well in our currently topsy-turvy world, and I look forward to welcoming you into the shop.
With best wishes
