Opening Hours and Access
In accordance with the latest government guidelines, we are not able to open “as usual” but we will be working from home during this period.
We are currently working on an eCommerce option for the site so you may well start to see stock in the online shop soon.
We know that not being able to get out and about to go shopping is challenging for many, so we hope that the ideas below will be the workaround you need…
We will be adding new “ready-to-go” jewellery items to the website and facebook page every few weeks, and you are welcome to get in touch to purchase a piece that appeals – we can arrange a collection time or post the piece to you.
Alternatively, get in touch to tell us what you are looking for – jo[at]silverforge.co.uk. We will email / WhatsApp you images of jewellery that we think will meet the brief, and if you see something you like, we can arrange to post the item to you.
Unfortunately we are unable to open at all under the current guidelines so collection is not possible.
Orders can be posted to you, or to a friend or relative as a gift. We use the Royal Mail Special Delivery service to post out our pieces, and they are insured and guaranteed to arrive next working day. This is usually before 1pm but with the additional deliveries due to lockdown, they may be a little later than 1pm. We are grateful to Royal Mail for providing this service which allows us to get pieces to our clients.
Payments will need to be made prior to collection or despatch, and we are able to take card payments by phone: Friday 11am-4pm, Saturday 10am-1pm.
We will continue to make jewellery commissions in the shop and at home, communicating via email, phone and video. As so many of our commissions are already requested from all over the country, we have a lot of experience with “distance working”, so if you are looking for a birthday gift or a present for a special occasion, please do get in touch:
jo [at] silverforge.co.uk or through the contact form. Make sure you add us to your safe-senders list.
Thank you for your ongoing support this year; it is very much appreciated and means more than you know!
We hope you keep safe and well in our currently topsy-turvy world, and look forward to welcoming you into the shop again in person soon.
With best wishes
Jo and Roger
